About the Book:
Millions of artists, entrepreneurs, crafters, and solopreneurs dream of making a living doing what they love. But turning their vision into a viable business plan can feel like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Jennifer Lee knows what it’s like to make the entrepreneurial leap — and how to do it successfully. The key is showing creative types how to use — rather than stifle — the imagination and intuition that make them creative in the first place. Lee’s illustrated, colorful worksheets and step-by-step instructions are playful yet practical, enabling readers to get down to the essential business of defining their vision and nailing down plans for funding, marketing, networking, and long-term strategy. Both budding and seasoned business owners will benefit from Lee’s wonderfully original approach.

- Doing a business plan in the new creative economy requires moving beyond the traditional business plan. The old way of doing things keeps people stuck in limited, black and white thinking. The new way of right-brain business planning ignites innovation by bringing intuition and creativity back in business planning.
- Business planning is typically considered hard, intimidating, boring, and overwhelming, but it can be fun, creative, accessible, and do-able.
- In addition to being a business planning book, the Right-Brain Business Plan helps creative entrepreneurs to move past mental blocks, engage their intuitive genius, and grow a business that authentically expresses who they are.
Book Includes:
- 36 full-color photographs of artwork from 22 featured Right-Brain Entrepreneurs
- Full-color hand-drawn art throughout, including 9 illustrated play sheets

Author Bio
Long version:
Certified coach, writer, and artist Jennifer Lee is the award-winning author of The Right-Brain Business Plan and the founder of Artizen Coaching. Before pursuing her own passions full-time, she consulted for ten years for companies such as Gap Inc., Accenture, Sony, and HP, helping leaders and organizations manage change. As a director of executive development for Gap Inc., she led onboarding and coaching programs for those at the level of vice president and up. She grew her private coaching business in her spare time, and in 2006 Jennifer made the leap from corporate America to entrepreneurship after realizing she needed to stop living her own dream on the side.
Now she is on a mission to empower people to awaken their innate creativity and make a living doing what they love. When she's not coaching, writing, or leading groups, she's either painting up a storm, reading in her hammock, practicing yoga, making arts and crafts, or indulging in a midday nap (one of the fabulous perks of being self-employed).
Her bestselling book has helped thousands of entrepreneurs around the world grow their businesses authentically and creatively. Jennifer has been featured in Whole Living, Entrepreneur, Family Circle, Cloth Paper Scissors Studios, and Choice magazines.
Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from UCLA and a master's degree in communication management from USC. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her creative, rather left-brain husband.
