Success for me is a sense of achievement, satisfaction or something done well. Like posting my first linkytool this week and setting up an online monthly challenge that I have been procrastinating about for far too long. Job done! Feeling positive & proud now.

Defining success, for me, has been a process of breaking and then redefining all sorts of rules and paradigms I inherited and/or absorbed. It’s an invigorating, terrifying, beautiful process.

I so needed to hear that interview tonight, I lost my job and have been entertaining the idea (s) of finding and tapping into my talents and creating my own job, but life problems got in the way and I let myself get psyched out and then did a good job of beating myself up…anyway tonite I stumbled across this site… from a fave of mine–Flora B’s website—-anyway…… listening to the interview, hearing all 3 of you lovely ladies giving positive energy and affirmations really inspired me and has breathed new life back into the possibility! Thnx!

Success means the ability to do what I want when I want

  • Kim Smith July 9, 2013, 5:37 am

My takeaway – “Success is finding more ease.” (Jenn). It is so interesting to look at success in a “non-businessy” sort of way and instead look at it as creating what you want to *feel* in your life. I also am going to search Jenn’s site for that exploding box template. I really love that idea! I want to win this book so much! No funds right now to buy it with being on unemployment and the expenses of my daughter’s wedding at the end of this month.

Success is knowing you are doing something meaningful, and something in line with your dreams and purpose…

  • Silvia July 9, 2013, 11:58 am

All three of you appear grounded and approachable while obviously tremendously content in your successes. The term ease cropped up and seems very appropriate for a definition of success, to work hard with ease, to achieve financial ease, to find creative ease. To uncover time with ease and discover pleasure and comfort in the ease of working for oneself.

Success to me means living my integrity.

  • sharon July 9, 2013, 12:13 pm

In the chaos of life, I have multiple definitions for success. Some are long term and allow me to maintain direction: follow my passion in creating my design business and being able to generate an income (all defined by RBBP process!) and then some are short term so that I can celebrate some steps along the way: making time to paint everyday, finishing a collection. The short term celebrations of success, give me the energy to keep moving towards the more elusive long term goal. The short term successes serve as much needed affirmations in face of the many distractions of life’s chaos and reminders that I can do this (serious struggles for me as time just keeps blowing by and not much progress sometimes on the long term goals).

Success for me is doing what I love, when I want to and ultimately making a difference in the world. I am in the process of launching my very own business and I am uber-excited to finally experience this success! Thank-you from Canada for sharing this video! Loved it!

  • Sophia Chang July 9, 2013, 12:27 pm

Success is total freedom – being able to set my own work hours, to live in alignment with my core values and feelings, to live free from worry of scarcity and to be doing what I love.

Even when I do live in this way – I struggle with self-doubt, scattered focus and lack of clarity. So the advanced level of success is to do all of the above and completely accept myself and my values!!! Success is finally being free of external measures!

  • Kelly July 9, 2013, 1:46 pm

Success for me is a feeling of accomplishment. When I can check the box ‘DONE’ at the end of a project and knowing that I did my best. I’d love to win this book and I’m going to check out the RBBP now. I love taking a creative/ artistic approach to planning as I am a visual person. Thank you for sharing your insights. Creative Blessings!

Success for me is living the reality of my heart whispers…listening to them, cultivating them, creating them, connecting through them. The form varies daily, so it’s making the time and being present to acknowledge and appreciate them.

To me success is a feeling I get when I create something I am proud of. The challenge is creating my art and not worrying about making $ from it! It is difficult to not focus on making money, but following my passion. So, I am trying to combine the two and weaving for art and weaving for craft fairs and etsy. I am also beginning to teach some weaving classes. Success is a daily struggle and I fight to win the battle!

Find the EASE – as many others have commented, just feeeels right. I can feel that settling in my body. I Love your video – inspiring whilst being genuine and practical at the same time. I don’t think of myself as creative, but your ideas give me real tools and hope 🙂 – a winning combination 🙂 Thank you all and wishing you more and more ease 🙂

Success means that I choose my life. So many times in life you feel like the choices that you make are out of your hands and you do what is needed or expected but Success means that I can choose a different path – the one I always felt I was meant to be on. It doesn’t come all at once but inch by inch and the journey is as good as the destination.

Success for me is financial freedom, having a totally portable business and being able to run it AND still be stress free and able to enjoy my family.

  • Melissa R July 9, 2013, 3:31 pm

  • Donna July 9, 2013, 5:04 pm

Love the idea of using wonderful artsy projects to check in with how I’m doing with my goals and intentions. And I, too, am enamored of the concept of ‘ease’!

  • Jenny Messerle July 9, 2013, 5:36 pm

  • Susn July 9, 2013, 6:31 pm

Success is being able to do what is fulfilling to me and to able to share it with others to allow them to grow and feel and feed their own success……

  • Patricia Roeding July 9, 2013, 6:37 pm

Wow! This sparked me to define success for myself. Thank you.
Success is living simply, beautifully, and easily expressing the vulnerability of my truth in the reality of the moment.

  • Madeline July 9, 2013, 7:42 pm

I loved the idea that we can find our professional/career joy via the pleasures we find in our every day pursuits and interests–like art, yoga, cooking. Work/career does not have to be separate and apart from the joy we experience in the evenings and on weekends…

  • Sundari July 9, 2013, 8:18 pm

  • Nancy Laliberte July 9, 2013, 8:36 pm

Success to me is that feeling of a job well done, sharing my passion of art and making a connection with others through my own artwork, and through teaching by providing students with the tools and freedom to be the creative person they know is inside but didn’t know how to allow it to come out.

  • Monica July 9, 2013, 9:37 pm

I also loved the success=ease part! For me, success=abundance, of money, energy, support – it means that I have set myself up beautifully for moving forward on any venture. And with the help I am receiving through Jenn’s mentorship program I know I am on my way.

  • Anab Roa July 9, 2013, 9:43 pm

Success for me is just being in love with who you are, what you are, wherever you are, however you are, whenever:)

  • Giovanna Scott July 9, 2013, 11:36 pm

The big take-away from the interview was how much you ladies are ENJOYING yourselves!!! I think I’ll have to watch it again for the content, because I was just mesmerised by your ENTHUSIASM and love for what you are doing and how you are helping others get happy. I need to do more of that. Thanks ladies xx

  • Carola July 10, 2013, 12:44 am

Success is the result of the blissful and confronting feeling of being self-aware, self-assured and self-compassionate. Success is made of courage, belief, love and freedom to just be. It doesn’t just ‘happen’, you need to be determined to work hard, face up to your challenges and believe in your uniqueness. <3

  • David Wagenfeld July 10, 2013, 10:18 am

Success to me is supporting myself doing something that uplifts others and is deeply meaningful for me.

  • Lori July 10, 2013, 1:34 pm

Finding that one thing that you are already doing really well and love doing anyhow; embrace that and be open to each new step it takes you. Be open to others and recognize the ways they respond to you when you are doing what you do best.

    Thanks!

  • Tania July 10, 2013, 4:21 pm

Success is the CELEBRATION of LIFE living through me with ease as I embrace and share my Unique gifts with outrageous love with the world. I am the difference that makes a difference and success is bringing all of me to each and every moment to all aspects of personal & business dimensions.

  • Shari Sherman July 10, 2013, 7:38 pm

Success for me means being able to freely express my purpose. I believe I am here to spread some good vibes through my art and to inspire others to use their creativity as a form of expressing themselves, problem solving, and stress management…all the while building confidence and trust in themselves. Being able to do that fully and support myself and my family is what success means to me.

  • shara July 12, 2013, 12:56 am

Success, for me, means being able to support myself, have the flexibility and means to travel whenever I want (for the most part), and to make a living doing only work I love, supporting causes and family in my own way.
