Another iPad app that I look forward to playing more with is Clibe. It’s like a super cool digital Moleskine. I think it could be a great tool for making an online Right-Brain Business Plan®!

For you iPhoneography and Instagram addicts, there’s a cool conference next month in SF called 1197 that is dedicated to mobile & iPhone photography. My hubby and I will be attending the afternoon sessions. There’s a streaming video option for those of you who are not in the area.

While I was browsing at my local bookstore, this super fun and colorful book Rip the Page Adventures in Creative Writing by Karen Benke caught my eye. While it’s written for kids, I enjoy the playful prompts and approach. And here’s an inspiring post about Why You Must Write by Rachelle Mee-Chapman who says “writing is a way of becoming.”

Speaking of writing, how’s this for writing for a cause… the fabulous and innovative Michael Bungay Stainer partnered with Seth Godin and a whole slew of other amazing visionaries to write a book that will end malaria. The fabulous Willo O’Brien has started a new video series called WilloToons Connect where she shares her wisdom as a seasoned entrepreneur and interviews other inspiring creatives. The latest interview is with Bay Area artist Mati Rose. Mati co-founded Teahouse Studio with Tiffany Moore and Stefanie Renee.

Speaking of Teahouse Studio and entrepreneurship, for you local creative entrepreneurs, Tara Gentile will be leading a workshop called The Art of Earning at Teahouse Studio this fall.

Last week while I was at the CPSI Conference in Atlanta, I got to meet some really cool people doing creative and innovative work.

I sat in for a little bit of Dave Gray’s Gamestorming session and got inspired by how incorporates visuals and games into his work. He co-authored Gamestorming a book that contains 80 games to help you come up with new ideas, problem solve and more. You can also check out their Gamestorming site for more tips and tools.

I also met an International team of consultants, Jacquie Lloyd Smith, Katrin Elster, and Denise Meyerson, who work with companies to do creative problem solving and innovation using Lego® with their approach called Strategic Play®! How fun does that sound?
